Containers Direct
How it works

Your container,
placed exactly where you want it.

Most competitors drop the box and drive. We pre-call, photo-verify the site, and walk you through placement. Average delivery window is 3–7 business days from signed quote.

01

Driver pre-call

24-48 hours before delivery, the driver calls you to confirm the address, discuss site access, and schedule a tight window. No mystery deliveries.

02

Site assessment

You'll send a couple photos of the placement area. We'll tell you if the tilt-bed will clear or if we need crane or forklift, before dispatch.

03

Tilt-bed delivery (default)

A tilt-bed trailer slides the container off by tilting the bed and rolling backwards. 100+ feet of straight approach is ideal. Driver places it exactly where you've marked.

04

Sign-off + photos

You inspect the container against the grade spec, confirm it's placed correctly, and sign off. Driver sends photos to our depot for the file.

Tilt-bed · Default

Tilt-bed delivery

Standard method for 95% of deliveries. The trailer tilts and rolls the container backwards onto your pad. Fastest, cheapest, and included in every quote unless we flag a site issue.

Site requirements
  • • 14 ft of width clearance (13-axle trailer is wide)
  • • 14 ft of overhead clearance, watch tree limbs + wires
  • • 100 ft straight approach to placement pad
  • • Firm ground (no soft grass or fresh fill)
Crane · Add-on

Crane delivery

When tilt-bed can’t work, tight urban lots, steep grades, drop-over fences, or rooftop placements. We source a local crane operator and coordinate the lift.

Typical add-on cost
$800 – $2,400 depending on reach + duration

Exact quote comes from the crane company, we don’t markup.

Red flags to watch for in any delivery quote
  • • “Delivery TBD”, a real seller knows the delivered price at quote time
  • • Huge fuel surcharges added post-quote
  • • No driver pre-call, you’ll find out about site issues on delivery day
  • • Delivery windows measured in weeks, typical is 3–7 business days
